Genesis 3:15
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."
Genesis Chapter 3 tells the story of The Fall. After Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, God punishes the snake first, then both man and woman subsequently. The snake's curse is essentially the first gospel proclamation. It represents the endless back and forth battle between man and evil both physically and metaphorically. The proclamation also foreshadows that the Son of Man known as Jesus, will come forth to defeat this "snake" known as the sins of humanity but that He will wounded in the process.
Much like the first reference of Jesus in Genesis, Jesus makes his first appearance in Original Sin on the With Us Again tee. The story told within Genesis lays out the foundation of the struggle between man, sin, and evil.
Are you prepared for when Jesus is With Us Again?
